The hardest aspect of that job was simply keeping up with the pace. With them I learned organization skills imperative to maintaining the face pace sphere. This being the first year the company switched from UPS to FedEx, the overall process had changed entirely, making even the veterans of 2+ years not entirely sure of the process. I was also responsible for organizing and passing out customer labeling that would go onto packages to be shipped out. I was responsible for learning and working the Oracle system(computer program that logged inventory and restock) in a matter of hours. During my employment there, I had to critique my time management skills in order to maintain an even flow in the warehouse. ![]() At the peak of the season 12 hour days became common. and continued on until the workload was completed. The only certainty had about our hours was that each day started at 8 a.m.
